Elder Dallas Lauderdale Jr
Elder Dallas Lauderdale Jr accepted Christ at the age of 6 and was baptized at the Zion Hill Baptist Church, in Cleveland Ohio. As a son and grandson of Baptist preachers he grew up in a God fearing home and never strayed too far away from his spiritual roots.
Determined however not to follow the footsteps of his father, Elder Lauderdale attended the Ohio State University where he graduated with a degree in Architecture. In 1980 Elder Lauderdale married his college sweetheart and began attending the Mt. Hermon Baptist Church. At Mt Hermon, he worked as an Architectural Consultant for the late Dr. R.L. Fuller in the construction of the Good Samaritan Foundation Home. Following the death of Dr. Fuller, Elder O.D. Bouie was called to Pastor Mt. Hermon and the Lord quickly bonded a lasting relationship between these two men.
In 1998, Elder Lauderdale was ordained as a Deacon and in February 1999 he began to receive his call from God to a higher level of service. In November 2001, Elder Lauderdale was licensed as a minister and was later ordained as an Elder in November of 2006. Prior to his ordination, Elder Lauderdale founded the Trinity Christian Church of Solon, Ohio.
Elder Lauderdale is a passionate man of God who believes that the holiness of God should resonate in the lives of his people. Elder Lauderdale has been married to his wife Carol since August of 1980, has two children Tahja and Dallas III and had been employed at NASA for over 30 years until his retirement.
